USAX is in active performance on an SBIR Phase II for the United States Space Force, via SpaceWERX.
USAX’s Phase II effort is sponsored by AFWERX, a component of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). USAX is not endorsed by the Department of the Air Force or the U.S. government.
Enterprise delivery for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Salesforce, Dell, UPS, Splunk, and Twilio (CEO’s prior company, backed by Founders Fund and Sequoia). The CEO is a U.S. Army veteran with tours in Iraq and Egypt. The CTO is one of the few senior economists (PhD) who have architected and built technology systems for decades. His experience spans applied AI/ML, cryptography, and service on the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
For USG: As a Phase II awardee, USAX is eligible for SBIR Phase III awards (15 U.S.C. §638(r)): any federal agency, FFRDC/GOCO operator, or prime contractor may award sole-source contracts, task orders, OTs, or subcontracts deriving from this work. USAX provides a derivation package that supplies most of the memo for submission. Direct awards under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, prototype OTs, and IDIQs are also available paths.
